Building Financial Futures Through Event Investment

We started with a simple observation back in 2019—conferences, festivals, and sporting events had become massive economic drivers, yet most financial planners treated them as afterthoughts. That gap felt worth exploring.

The Early Days in Cork

Our founder spent years working in hospitality finance before realising something. Every summer, he'd watch Cork transform during festivals—hotels booked out, restaurants packed, local businesses thriving. But when he looked at investment portfolios, none of that energy was captured.

So in 2019, we set up shop in Little Island. The idea was straightforward: help people understand event economics and create financial plans that reflected this growing sector. Not glamorous at first—lots of spreadsheets, even more coffee.

What surprised us was how quickly clients responded. People got it. They'd been to these events, seen the crowds, felt the economic pulse. They just needed someone to translate that into sensible investment strategy.

The People Behind the Plans

We're a small team, which honestly works better. Everyone here has worked in either finance or event management—sometimes both. That cross-pollination matters when you're trying to spot opportunities most advisors miss.

Director of Strategic Planning

Seán came from traditional wealth management but got tired of the same old portfolios. He spent five years analysing event ROI patterns across Europe before joining us in 2021. Ask him about music festival economics and you'll be there for hours.

Senior Investment Consultant

Before moving to Ireland in 2020, Klára worked with conference organisers in Prague. She understands the logistics side better than anyone—which turns out to be crucial when you're evaluating event investment potential. She joined our team in early 2023.

What Guides Our Work

These aren't framed on the wall or anything. But they do shape how we approach every client conversation and investment recommendation.

Real Data First

We built our own database tracking over 800 events across Ireland and the UK. It took three years. Worth it though—now we can spot trends most advisors miss completely.

Plain Conversation

Financial jargon puts people to sleep. We explain things the way you'd chat over lunch. If something sounds complicated, we're probably explaining it wrong.

Long View Thinking

Event investment isn't a quick flip. It's about understanding cultural shifts and demographic patterns. We look five to ten years out, not next quarter.

How We Actually Work With Clients

Every relationship starts with a proper conversation. Not a sales pitch—an actual discussion about what you're trying to achieve and whether event investment makes sense for your situation.

First meeting is always free, usually runs about 90 minutes. We want to understand your full financial picture before suggesting anything.

If we think event investment isn't right for you, we'll say so. Happened twice last month actually. Better for everyone to be upfront.

Plans get reviewed quarterly but you can ring anytime. Sometimes the market shifts and we need to adjust. That's normal.

We charge transparent flat fees, not commissions. Means our advice stays unbiased and focused on your actual needs.

Let's Have a Conversation

No obligation, no pressure. Just a straightforward chat about whether event investment planning might fit your financial goals. We're based in Little Island but work with clients across Ireland.
